Seven Hours

We have arrived in Urumqi, the birthplace and home of our son, Xin Sha Gang. The moment we have long waited for is now a mere seven and a half hours away. As you prepare for bed on Sunday night EST, we will be preparing to meet our son for the first time.

We are scheduled to arrive at the Civil Affairs Office at 10:00 where Sha Gang will be waiting for us. We are both excited and overwhelmed knowing that tomorrow we will be a family of six. We face tomorrow knowing that we are in exactly where God wants us and He is watching over every aspects of our meeting and becoming a family. We are full of praise that He has allowed us to adopt Sha Gang: children are truly a blessing from God.
